Candida March has been an Oxford resident since 1982 and lives locally to the centre. Her passionate commitment to social inclusion and empowerment have led her to be on the Boards of INTRAC, Film Oxford (Chair), Oxford HR (chairing Board meetings) and Florence Park Community Association.

Local resident, parent, business adviser. Trustee.

Scott is a founding partner at Oxford Innospace LLP, a shared workspace in East Oxford. He lives on the Florence Park with his wife and children.

CEO of local social enterprise Aspire, Trustee

Paul is the Chief Executive of Aspire Oxford an award-winning employment charity and social enterprise, founded in 2001. Aspire helped to incubate Flo’s in its early stages.

Shilpa was Head of two Children Centres in Oxfordshire. With a post graduate degree in science she has worked as consultant and delivered training in stakeholder engagement and equality and management in different sectors. Trustee.

Guinevere Webster

Trustee leading on membership, clinical psychologist, local resident,

Guin has lived in Florence Park since 2008 with her husband and three children. As a clinical psychologist she worked in the NHS for 14 years specializing in the family impact of neurological disability, currently she works in private practice focused on the transition to parenthood. She has been involved in founding various charities and community groups for the past 10 years.

Kirsten, a New Zealander, has lived in Florence Park for three years. She runs a digital and marketing consultancy specialising in publishing, hospitality, the performing arts and charitable sectors. Trustee.

Nursery manager

Tanja lives locally in Florence Park and has raised her children here. She has 20 years’ experience working in Early Years and experience in a range of settings including nurseries, pre-schools, children’s centre and a Foundation Unit in a primary school. She holds a BA in Early Years education and is Forest School leader.

Deborah Woodhouse

Deborah Woodhouse

Centre manager for Facilities and Finance

Deborah manages our administration, operational finances, and the building.

She was born on Florence Park estate, attended nursery where Flo’s is now, and has lived within walking distance of Florence Park for most of her life.

Deborah has many years experience of working in administrative management in private industry and higher education including for a local publisher, and as a manager at the Museum of the History of Science, Oxford, and University of Oxford Botanic Gardens.

Local resident, parent, and a director of Electric Breeze Audio Productions -who specialise in voice recordings.

Makena Lohr

Centre manager for Communities and Communication

Makena is our centre manager for communities and communication. She works on communications, fundraising and supporting our volunteers. Makena has lived in Oxford for 5 years, working for a range of charities and community groups. Alongside her role at Flo’s she currently setting up a charity called Xenia for women learning English.

Business Administrator

Sam lives in Oxford and has worked in finance and business administration for many years including in Children’s Centres and Nursery schools.

Will Pouget

Local resident, parent, Café owner and founding member.

Will is a local parent and founder of The Vaults Café which won Sustainable Restaurant of the Year Award 2016 in recognition of its farmer-first approach to sourcing, excellent efforts on food waste reduction and great communication with customers.

Annie Davy

Strategy adviser and consultant

Annie lives locally and set up The Nature Effect Community Interest Company in 2011. Annie is founder of Barracks Lane Community Garden – a thriving project in East Oxford established over 10 years ago. Recently completed a six-month Interim Headship Role with Grandpont Nursery School.

Jane Gallagher

Jane Gallagher

Florence Park resident, parent, community engagement, communications and playfulness. Founding Member.

Jane has lived in Florence Park since 2000. She has been a primary and secondary teacher and more recently worked as Play Development Officer for Oxfordshire. Community initiatives include taking a lead in the highly successful resurgence of the Florence Park Community Centre, organising the first Playing Out street play project in Oxford and setting up street parties. She is editor of Florence Park Newsletter, and is a local parent.

Local resident, social enterprise and community engagement adviser. Founding Member.

Josh has extensive experience of working with social enterprises to develop their business plans and to communicate their positive social impacts. He is a parent and has lived around the corner from Florence Park for over 10 years.

Suffia runs the "Fill your cup first: Women‘s wellbeing course" at Flo’s.

Anna Thorne

Anna Thorne

Local resident and parent, management and development of early years provision, family support services and community engagement.

Anna has lived in Florence Park since 2001. She is an active community member with considerable local knowledge and connections. Anna managed Donnington Doorstep for 13 years. She has been a trustee and Vice Chair of Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre since 2015 and recently took up the post of Executive Director at the Oxford Parent Infant Project (OXPIP).

Ella Sinclair

As Managing Director of Abel & Cole, Ella took turnover from £0.5m to £28m in 7 years. At the same time, Ella set leading ethical standards, winning The Queen’s Award for Sustainable Development, Soil Association Organic Retailer of the Year, and the Fast Track 100 Green Award. Ella has advised a number of other successful social enterprises, including Happy Ltd and City Car Club. She is currently working with ClearlySo, the UK’s leading Impact Investment Bank.
