Since 2018 Flo’s has hosted The Florence Park Midwives here in our community hub. With our roots as a children's centre and as a much loved family centred space, we are delighted that this service can form part of our space.
About the Midwives
Florence Park midwives and maternity support workers cover Cowley, East Oxford, Wood Farm, The Leys and South Oxford.

Please note, Florence Park Midwives operate across several sites including The Rectory Centre on Rectory Road. Please check the details about the location of your appointment carefully before traveling to Flo’s.
Equal Start Oxford
Equal Start Oxford was founded at Flo’s in 2022 with the mission to support mothers, babies and families from the diverse migrant population of OX4 to thrive in pregnancy and early parenthood facing inequality of outcomes with maternity care and experience.
It is a partnership project run by Flo’s and the Florence Park Community midwives to support pregnant women & new parents living in OX4.
Services we offer include:
Community Maternity Advocates can help if you are having a difficult time with things like housing, money or getting hold of clothes and equipment for baby.
Pregnancy education antenatal classes - learn things like, what happens in pregnancy and the choices you have for your birth.
East Timor Mums Group - a friendly place that you can go to make friends who are also pregnant or have had their baby already.
