Volunteering at Flo’s
We couldn’t do what we do each year without our brilliant team of volunteers.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life. Some are students or young people gaining experience, others are returning to work after a career break, some are in part-time work and want to give something back locally, and others are retirees sharing their time, skills and experience.
Volunteering happens across Flo’s, from Flo’s Café and Flo’s Refill Shop to our nurseries and a range of behind-the-scenes and office-based roles. Every contribution makes a real difference to how Flo’s runs day to day.
A place for all
We’re proud to be a welcoming and inclusive space. We offer volunteering opportunities to people living with hidden health conditions, those recovering from physical or mental ill health, people who are neurodivergent, and anyone who may benefit from a more flexible and supportive way to take part in community life. We try to meet people where they are, and shape volunteering so it feels accessible and meaningful.
We also know that wellbeing matters. Volunteers at Flo’s can access our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) through Wellbeing Solutions, offering confidential support whenever it’s needed.
